"THEN LET US ALL DO WHAT IS RIGHT, STRIVE WITH ALL OUR MIGHT TOWARD THE UNATTAINABLE, DEVELOP AS FULLY AS WE CAN THE GIFTS GOD HAS GIVEN US, AND NEVER STOP LEARNING." ~ LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN
Alabanza Piano Studio gives your child the opportunity to learn piano and musicianship skills, in Spanish or in English, developing a life-long appreciation for music. Our Lake Street studio in Holland opened in June of 2011 and in September of 2013 we opened a second studio inside Innocademy Charter School in Zeeland.
Alabanza Piano Studio is closely tied to Music Mosaic, a non-profit organization that works with music programs in Mexico. Our focus with Alabanza Piano Studio is opening students' eyes to how they can most fully use God's gift of music in their own lives, in their communities, and in their world. Piano lessons are based on GAMES and MUSIC ENJOYMENT as we develop our musicianship skills, becoming well-rounded musicians who are ready for the next step, whether it is another instrument in band or orchestra, church music, studying music in college, or a career in music.
Our teacher, Jill Zuber, has taught piano for more than twenty years in Michigan, Indiana, Mexico, and Belize. She is an active member of the Michigan Music Teachers Association, Holland Piano Teachers Forum webmaster, and is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Piano through the Music Teachers National Association. She plays piano in various local churches.
We have performed in churches, schools, at the Upper Room Theater, D&W Supermarket, Royal Park Place, Heights of Hope Fest, Zeeland Lumber Showroom, Zeelmania, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Hope College, Tendercare Health & Rehabilitation Center, Innocademy, Grand Valley State University's 20th/21st Century Piano Festival, Holland street performers, and Rest Haven Care Center. Look for Alabanza Piano Studio students performing in different places around the community!
